The precept is the Parish Council’s share of the council tax. The Parish Council incurs expenditure and raises income in order to provide its services.
This year, there will be an increase in the annual precept charged and applied to your council tax. Apart from increased administration costs, the three main items of additional expenditure will enhance the facilities and services provided to our community:
- Completing building work at the Pavilion,
- Repainting the MUGA,
- Investing in youth services for our village.
This equates to an annual charge of £114.63 for a Band D property (around £2.20 per week).
