Exciting Opportunity – Part-time Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer range £24,496 to £29,439 pro rata

Farmborough is a friendly rural village on the outskirts of Bath, serving about 1700 residents.

The Parish Council is seeking to appoint an innovative, forward thinking and proactive Parish Clerk to develop links with local groups and source funding to enable the Council to become more sustainable and provide improved value for money for our local community.

If you have the enthusiasm, vision and commitment to take the Council forward, manage a budget of circa £50k and one member of staff, we would like to hear from you.

You will ideally have completed the Introduction to Local Council Administration (ILCA) or be willing to do so, with a proven track record in administrative and financial management together with the necessary skills in people management and leadership, communication and organisation.
