Youth Guarantee Trailblazer

The Youth Guarantee Trailblazer is a new initiative supporting young people across Bath and North East Somerset.

This project is designed to help 18–21-year-olds, as well as 16–17-year-olds at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), who are facing barriers to accessing education, training, or employment—particularly due to transport challenges.

Through the programme, eligible young people can receive short-term support with transport, including:

• Bus passes
• Taxi fares
• E-bike or manual bike hire
• And other flexible travel solutions

In addition to transport support, participants can also access:

• Tailored employment support
• Work placements
• Information, advice, and guidance to help them take their next steps

The Youth Guarantee Trailblazer is open to all B&NES residents who meet the eligibility criteria and aims to make the journey into work or education more accessible and achievable.
